Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Plan Consultation

ConsultationThe Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Plan plans for development in the Borough over the next 15 years by setting standards and targets for development. It identifies the broad locations for development, as well as the infrastructure required to deliver what it proposes.

The Borough Plan will:

  • Improve the Borough’s economic prospects.
  • Plan for homes for a growing population.
  • Direct development to the most suitable locations and ensure new businesses and homes are supported by new roads, schools, shops and services.
  • Protect the Borough’s natural and historic assets.
  • Guide how new development takes account of climate change, flooding, wildlife, health and other matters.
  • Show residents, businesses and developers what will and will not be supported by the Council when making decisions on planning applications.

The consultation starts on the Friday, 5 July 2013 and will run for eight weeks closing on the Friday, 30 August 2013.

You can make your comments online by filling out a response form and emailing it to planning.policy@nuneatonandbedworth.gov.uk

Alternatively, you can make comments on paper by printing the response form which can be sent to Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council, Planning Policy Team, Town Hall, Coton Road, Nuneaton, CV11 5AA.

You can pick a response form up from Council offices, the main Borough libraries or at one of the information points.
