Public Health consulting on information for Veterans and their families

ConsultationLate last year, Public Health Warwickshire secured £20,000 from the Ministry of Defence (MOD) Armed Forces Community Covenant Fund.

The aim of the project funded by the MOD is to create three separate booklets containing signposting and information, specific to Warwickshire aimed at:

  1. Veterans themselves
  2. Families of veterans
  3. NHS and local authority staff

Since being awarded this funding, Public Health Warwickshire have been working closely with Coventry University, supporting them to consult, hold focus groups and produce the content for these booklets.

We are now in a position where we would like to seek your views on the content.  The format, layout and design will change, so when reading them, please think about and provide comment on the content only. If you think we have missed out key information or any of the content is incorrect, please provide specific details.

You can respond to this consultation in a number of ways:
  • An online survey has been created to enable you to provide feedback regarding the content:

  • Should you wish to submit anything more detailed, please send your comments through to
  • Alternatively please leave your comments below.

Public Health are keen to get as much feedback on these documents as possible, particularly from veterans and their families, therefore, please feel free to forward this information on to others who may be interested in responding.

The closing date for this consultation is Friday 30th August 2013.
