ADVERTISEMENT OF PROPOSED LEASEHOLD DISPOSAL
Warwickshire County Council is seeking to dispose of 496 sq m of land at Newburgh Primary School, Kipling Avenue, Warwick, Warwickshire, CV34 6LD.
The land is currently occupied by Pathways Nursery and the leasehold disposal is required to enable the installation of a new standalone building to enhance existing facilities. The new building will be located within the 496 sq m of land currently used by Pathways Nursery (shown edged black on the plan) and the building footprint will be approximately 69 sq m (shown hatched black on the plan).
The Council does not believe that there are any viable alternative community uses for the land subject to the proposed disposal, nor do any local Schools have a need for additional playing field provision, as the land in question is already used by Pathways Nursery. However, before continuing with the disposal, the Council wishes to consult the local community to ascertain their views regarding the proposed disposal.
